Kids happy, parents happy! Kids happy, parents happy
As any parent knows, toddlers love learning about animals. They love the park for the birds, the zoo for the monkeys and the aquarium for the whales. So why not take them on a safari of the Animal Kingdom in Africa?

Steps

1. Choose your country wisely. When travelling with toddlers the best countries to visit in Africa include Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa. All of these countries are considered safe and cater towards family-friendly adventures.

2. Be flexible with your holiday plans. In South Africa, you can hire your own car and make your own schedule. Take a safari one day, visit a park the next, drive to the beaches after that.

3. Opt for a safari that is directed towards young children where you can explore all Africa has to offer with like-minded families. Keep in mind, however, that many safaris, such as canoe safaris and walking tours are not suitable for toddlers.

4. Research for lodges that have no age-restriction limits on their hotels and their tours. Because some safaris are considered unsafe for young children, you need to do your research when booking your holiday to Africa. First and foremost, make sure the tours are acceptable for toddlers. Some tours are not as the roads can be too bumpy, the days too long, and the sun too hot for their sensitive skin.

5. Make sure you bring their favourite toys and comfort items and plan for everything and anything. The most important thing to remember when travelling with toddlers in Africa is that you are away from home.

6. Contact us to make sure that you and your family can enjoy a truly family-friendly holiday in Africa!
